Tom Kang, PGA Member
Tom is a graduate of Michigan State University and the San Diego Golf Academy. He is entering his 21st year as part of the Golf Center Staff, Fluent in Korean and a level 2 certified Jim Hardy Plane Truth instructor, Tom is a valuable addition to the instructional staff at the Spartan Golf Academy.
Jayson Howell, PGA Associate
Jayson is a graduate of Ferris State University. He was played college golf at Jackson College from 2014-2015. A native of Lansing , Mich., Jayson was a student assistant at Katke Golf Course from 2019-2021. Most recently he was an Assistant Golf Professional at Kalamazoo Country Club. During his time in Kalamazoo he also was an Assistant Golf Coach for Kalamazoo College for 3 seasons.
Nick LaFontsee, PGA Associate
Nick is a graduate of Lansing Community College with a degree in Business Administration. Before college, he went to Laingsburg High School and graduated in 2018 were he won 4 conference championships and was selected first team all conference for all 4 years along with being all academic. He has worked towards helping to improve the game of golf for all skill levels and loves what he does. Golf has been apart of his life since the age of 4 and plans to continue pursuing his dream of helping others succeed on the golf course.
