CONSTRUCTION IMPACTS TO US-127 TRAVEL BETWEEN I-96 AND I-496:
Guests and visitors to Michigan State University,
When visiting campus, please be aware of the following impacts to travel. Significant construction will be ongoing on US-127 between I-96 and I-496.
- Northbound US-127 will close completely March 11 until November.
- There will be no access to Trowbridge Road if going northbound for all of 2024.
- There will be no access to Dunkel Road if going northbound until mid-June.
- Traffic flow will be maintained with two lanes going north until noon, and two lanes going south after noon - with the use of a zipper barrier.
- 2025 will see the southbound side close completely.
